Delta Hotels by Marriott

This hotel has significantly reduced reliance on single-use plastics by installing atmospheric water generators.

The Delta Hotels by Marriott in Dubai Investment Park announced in March 2023 that it had installed two of Airowater's Atmospheric Water Generators (AWGs). These machines convert the moisture in the air into potable water and are manufactured by Airowater. Each device is capable of producing between 500 and 1,000 liters of water each day, which is sufficient to meet the needs of the entire hotel. Water is served in glass bottles rather than plastic ones in all of the property's establishments, including the 246 guest rooms, the fitness center, and the spa. The hotel asserts that it prevents the use of 11,000 kg of plastic and 1,000 liters of water by the utilization of an AWG.
