Shibuya
Films can be funded and shaped by NFT holders via the Web3 video platform.
Shibuya is a decentralized, "direct-to-community," blockchain-based video platform that provides producers with a mechanism to crowdfund videos and web series while also allowing backers a voice in the creative direction of the project.Non-NFT holders can see parts of the films on the platform for free, even though only holders can fund and have creative input. An anime series named White Rabbit is one of the first episodes on the platform, and it allows consumers to choose between two different outcomes for what occurs following the pilot episode. Viewers must acquire and mint a Producer Pass NFT and then stake it to cast a vote for either course. Only then can they provide their input. After that, the directors will incorporate the findings into the subsequent episode. There were a total of 5,000 NFTs available, each priced at approximately 235 USD; however, each wallet could only hold a maximum of five. Emily 'pplpleasr' Yang, an artist, was the creative force behind the inception and launch of Shibuya in March 2022.
