No Normal
Coffee paste that is concentrated provides fuel for outdoor activities.
The Swiss Startup No Normal has invented a concentrated coffee paste that is packaged in an aluminum tube that can be squeezed. This product provides a handy and portable solution to enjoy great coffee while on the move. For campers, climbers, surfers, and hikers, No Normal provides a few advantages that are not found anywhere else. Considering that the paste may be easily dissolved in either hot or cold water or milk, it eliminates the requirement for brewing equipment or instant coffee that is sensitive to moisture.
In addition, it can be consumed directly from the tube, with the assistance of a mildly sweetened version, or it can be mixed with other foods, such as chocolate or bananas, to provide an additional dose of caffeine in situations when water is scarce. Keeping in mind the importance of sustainability, the aluminum packaging used by No Normal is both modest and recyclable. The coffee paste is created using Fairtrade, organic Arabica coffee beans and Swiss organic sugar. It is produced in Emmental, Switzerland, within the Swiss canton of Emmental. In March of 2024, No Normal was successfully crowdfunded, and it is scheduled to ship in June of 2124. Each 85-gram tube can produce up to 25 small or 15 big cups of coffee, depending on the dosage, and can be purchased for CHF 14 per tube.
