Rebind

The use of Rebind adds layers of discourse and context enabled by artificial intelligence to classic works.

Rebind is a publishing platform established in the United States that aims to give well-known books a new lease on life through the use of artificial intelligence. In order to provide these immersive experiences, Rebind conducts in-depth conversations with literary figures such as John Banville, Roxanne Gay, and Bill McKibben about a particular piece of literature. Interactions enabled by artificial intelligence that are conversational are built on top of this material. As they progress through a book, readers have the ability to pause at any time to engage the expert, also known as the "Rebinder," in a conversation. During this conversation, they can ask questions and receive contextual insights that have been derived from hours of recordings. It is similar to having a conversation with a book club that is smoothly integrated into the experience of reading. June 2024 marked the beginning of beta access.
