Kunstmuseum Den Haag

Participants with dementia are encouraged to participate in monthly art tours.

In June of 2024, the Kunstmuseum Den Haag in The Hague, which is located in the Netherlands, launched a program that included art tours and workshops that were suitable for people with dementia. Available for people with dementia and their caregivers, tours are held monthly. Each session includes small groups, examining artworks with sensory aids like scents and tactile prompts, followed by a social tea. The art museum program is free throughout 2024, thanks to sponsorship from the Debman Foundation.
