NATIVA

The path of ethical fiber from the farm to the catwalk is tracked by blockchain.

The French company NATIVA, which is a provider of natural fibers, has introduced NATIVA Cashmere, which is a cashmere fiber that is both ethical and traceable. Nomadic tribes in Mongolia are responsible for the production of the fiber, which is grown on very small family farms. Brands are able to track the course of the fiber from the farm to the garment industry thanks to blockchain technology. In addition to being certified for animal welfare and land management, it also complies with the requirements set forth by the Sustainable Fiber Alliance. It is possible for customers to trace the origin of the cashmere by using a QR code. Cos, Stella McCartney, Gucci, and Pangaia are among the brands that have become partners as of June 2024.
