During the month of May in 2024, eBay introduced a click-to-resale function that is incorporated into Certilogos Secure by Design technology. This technology was intended to authenticate fashion items. The goal of this feature was to minimize obstacles to recommerce. The function, which is a component of eBay's mission to create a circular fashion economy, enables customers to list clothing items by scanning the smart label of a linked product before listing them. It is planned to spread out the labels to a wider audience after the Italian outerwear and lifestyle company Save The Duck has completed the trial project.
