Using only advertising revenue, startup provides cutting-edge dual-screen smart TV at no cost to user.
The American technology startup Telly has stated that they will be distributing 500,000 of their brand-new smart televisions at no cost in the month of May 2023. Be that as it may, there is a catch. Users are required to watch advertisements around the clock while streaming movies and television shows. Not only does Telly's smart TV have a 55-inch 4K HDR screen, but it also has a built-in soundbar with five drivers and a nine-inch secondary screen for additional viewing options. Advertisements are displayed with widgets on the second screen, which also provides information such as the current weather, music playback, and sports scores. Some users may find the advertisements to be irritating, while others may learn to ignore them. This is despite the fact that the advertisements only take up a quarter of the smaller second screen. It is possible to make a reservation for the free smart TV through Telly's website, and shipments are slated to take place during the summer of 2023, but only in the United States.
