Cadbury Nigeria

Helping emerging musicians in West Africa through an educational music platform

Cadbury Nigeria, a subsidiary of Mondelēz International, has introduced a music education platform called TomTom Candy. This platform is designed to cultivate and showcase young musicians who are working in the underground music scene in West Africa. A curriculum and learning experiences that are geared at creative individuals between the ages of 18 and 34 are provided by Breathe Academy. These learning experiences and curriculum encompass the skill of songwriting and music production and provide insights into artist management and marketing. Partners in the music industry, such as record labels and creative management companies, provide access to executive-level music professionals with extensive experience. TomTom's commitment to cultivate future talent led to the establishment of Breathe Academy in June 2023, which was accompanied by a live event that included upcoming bands.
