Hatch Enterprise and eBay UK Present Sneaker Academy.

In April of 2023, eBay UK made the announcement that it will be collaborating with Hatch Enterprise to develop the Sneaker Academy. This program would feature a free 14-week course that will teach young people who are passionate about sneakers how to turn their passion into a business. Beginning on May 17 and continuing until August 14, the academy provides assistance, guidance, and mentoring from industry professionals to aspiring business owners who come from underserved neighborhoods. It is the goal of this project to create a level playing field for those who are enthusiastic about sneakers but who are experiencing difficulties in beginning a business. Following the completion of the program, participants will be eligible to get continued support from eBay and Hatch, as well as pay no fees and obtain free shop fronts for their eBay business throughout the first six months of the program.
