LUSH (POP)

In an effort to safeguard marine ecosystems and coastal communities, LUSH has introduced new packaging systems.

The company's mission is to "Leave the world lusher than we found it," and LUSH is the first global beauty brand to incorporate Prevented Ocean Plastic (POP) into its packaging. This change is in line with the company's mission. POP is a certified recycled plastic, collected from coastal areas at risk of ocean plastic pollution. LUSH was already using 100% recycled PET for its clear bottles but, as of May 2024, POP was introduced for 100ml, 250ml and 500ml bottles in the UK, Germany and Croatia. The initiative, developed with Spectra Packaging, will extend to North America and Japan by the end of 2024, with 1L bottles to follow.
