The airline has introduced the very first in-flight film festival in the globe.

According to the airline TAP Air Portugal, which is the festival's organizer, the Altitude Film Fest is the first film festival that takes place inside of a transportation vehicle. The firm made the announcement in June 2024 that it would be accepting proposals from Portuguese filmmakers for the purpose of submitting short films that were either fiction or documentary in nature. The intention was to feature these films on in-flight entertainment systems throughout the month of October. It will be possible for passengers to cast their votes on their preferred movie. During an awards ceremony that will take place in November, the two films that will be awarded the titles of Best Fiction Film and Best Documentary will be selected based on their ratings in conjunction with the ratings of an expert judging panel.
