Mandarin Oriental Jumeira

In observance of Ramadan, a hotel has formed a partnership with an Emirati artist.

In March 2023, to coincide with the holy month of Ramadan, the Mandarin Oriental Jumeira hotel in Dubai introduced a communal area for guests to have Iftar and Suhoor meals together. Emirati artist Yasmin Al Mulla was involved in the design of The Majlis by Mandarin Oriental. She was responsible for creating a gallery that features contemporary interpretations of seven mosques. The beachfront location allowed guests and their families to indulge in a menu that brought together traditional delicacies from the Middle East with contemporary creations from well-known chefs. The hotel's general manager stated that the experience was intended to celebrate the Emirati people's art, culture, and tradition.
