The Samaritaine store in Paris was converted into a magnificent amusement park. This transformation took place in May of 2023. At Magic City, which was open until August 2023, visitors may participate in a variety of activities that were supposed to mimic the ambiance of a funfair. These activities included pincer machines, dart boards, hoop tonic classes, distorting mirrors, and arcade games. A reference to the store's history is provided by the theme. In the year 1900, the store's founder, Ernest Cognacq, constructed the first amusement park in the city on the quays of the Seine stream. Additional enhancements to the festive atmosphere were made possible through partnerships with the Musée des Arts Forains and the Musée du Jeu de Paume.
