Airbnb has announced the creation of a fund to encourage OMG! home design.

Airbnb has announced a USD 10 million fund for interior designers with the most innovative home design concepts. From June till July of 2022, the OMG! Fund accepted applications; from those, 100 winners were selected, including architects, designers, and regular individuals. Each of them receives USD 100,000. Originality, practicability, experience, and long-term viability will each play a part in the decision-making process, which will be conducted by four judges. This change is being made with a rebranding effort centered on highlighting modest, individual homes and introducing the OMG category. Winners must complete certain milestones to keep the grant on schedule.
