Furnishing Futures

Donations of furniture are made by interior designers to victims of domestic violence.

Furnishing Futures is a charitable organization headquartered in the United Kingdom that works to transform poor housing into safe homes for women and children who are escaping domestic violence. The #NoPlaceLikeHome campaign was initiated by Furnishing Futures in June 2024. The campaign aimed to solicit donations of 'as-new' furniture from interior brands and organizations. This included furniture that had been returned, furniture that had been ex-showroom stock, or goods that had not been employed on interior projects. A significant lack of furnished spaces is addressed by the campaign. Less than two percent of social housing is provided with furnishings. Additionally, the campaign addresses the waste that is produced within the interiors business. The promotional video that goes along with the hashtag #NoPlaceLikeHome is also included.
