A beauty company has opened a tea cafe to educate customers about the manufacturing process.
In 2022, China-based beauty retailer Harmay opened Introlemons, a 180-square-meter tea store in Shanghai that combines hospitality and entertainment. This came after the company successfully raised a combined total of USD 200 million in capital in Series C and D. The room, created by Aim Architecture, was conceived to include the consumer in creating the tea. The entry is designed to look like the truck that makes daily deliveries of lemons to the city; therefore, it is encircled by steel and loaded with crates of lemons. The consumer can access a forum-like room open for cultural functions via a staircase and then go on to an intimate cinema space where they can be provided with additional information regarding the concept.
