John F. Kennedy High School

The next generation of electric vehicle technicians receives their training in high school.

The John F. Kennedy High School in Sacramento, which is located in San Francisco, is providing students with the education and training they need to become electric vehicle technicians after they graduate. Since January 2024, the educational institution has shifted its former course on internal combustion engines to one that is now concentrated around zero-emission automobiles. This change was made in response to the developing deficiencies in the labor market. A grant in the amount of $300,000 was provided by a financing organization in the state of California, which made the course upgrade accessible.
