Through a partnership with a Buddhist temple, a fragrance brand has developed a distinctive signature scent.

From November 2023 onwards, guests of the Jade Buddha temple in Shanghai will have the opportunity to purchase a scent that was created by the Chinese fragrance business Boitown. Every one of the six fragrances in the Ruyin line is associated with a different period of life or a different level of success. Ctrip, a Chinese travel company, reports that visits to Buddhist temples have increased by 310% at the beginning of 2023 compared to the same time period in 2022. This indicates that Buddhist temples are becoming increasingly popular among members of Generation Z and millennials. Items that have been blessed, like as bracelets made of beads, are sold in the stores inside the temple, and visitors share their purchases on various social media platforms.
