Collaboration between brands results in an edible cup

In August of 2022, natural skincare and fragrance firm Haeckels, based in the United Kingdom, collaborated with energy drink manufacturer Red Bull to develop an edible cup. Spirulina, ginger, and blueberries are the three components that make up the new bio-material of the cup. When consumed, the cup has a beneficial effect on one's mood, energy levels, and digestion due to the stomach-friendly components it contains. In less than forty-eight hours, if it is not consumed, it will decay on its own, preventing waste that is harmful to the environment. The average number of one-time-use plastic cups used at festivals is approximately 100 million.
