
Virtual reality Squid Game.
A video game based on the well-liked South Korean television program Squid Game was developed by Netflix in collaboration with Sandbox VR in February 2023. The experience is scheduled to debut later on in the year and will be made available at Sandbox VR arcades located all over the world. At the time this article was written, the video game company has over 30 locations across the world, with 26 of those being in North America. According to Sandbox VR, participants in the future experience will be "transported to iconic Squid Gamelocations, where they become contestants in a variety of pulse-pounding challenges inspired by the Netflix series."
